0

The aviation company Borrshberg has started a subsidiary company called H55, whose mandate will be to create electric planes. H55’s inaugural model has room for two in the cockpit and can stay in flight for approximately 90 minutes. Solar Impulse was used in the design, which was made by a Czech Republic company called BRM Aero. Solar impulse technology was initially designed to showcase electric technology, the result is H55’s Energic which is a training plane.

H55’s Energic electric planes are powered with two battery packs which add approximately 50 kilowatt-hours. The plane can be fully charged in roughly an hour. The model can climb up to 900 feet per minute and has a cruising speed of 125 MPH, which is almost the same as the fossil fuel version of the plane.
